Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) is a comprehensive public university based in New Britain, Connecticut. Established in 1849, it has nearly 175 years of experience providing affordable higher education and is recognized as the oldest publicly funded institution in the state. Today, CCSU is the largest university in the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system and enrolls more than 10,000 students, with about 82% pursuing undergraduate studies.
