At the request of key suppliers, the Hertz family expanded their beverage distribution business into Alabama in 2003, creating a statewide distributor named MBC-United. Throughout the years, the business has merged with and acquired multiple additional businesses and compatible portfolios, combining several of the largest beverage distributors in Alabama.
