Salvador J. Bertucci opened S.J. Bertucci Co. in Jackson, Mississippi, distributing 20 Grand Ale to central Mississippi. The company’s name was changed to Capital City Beverages. The fourth generation of the family joined the distributorship when Brian Drennan joined the company. S.J. Bertucci’s son, Frank Bertucci, joined the company and remained actively involved in the business until his passing in 2009. Capital City Beverages now operates out of offices in Jackson and Greenwood, Mississippi, servicing over 1,500 customers in eighteen Mississippi counties, covering a geography of nearly 10,000 square miles and more than 785,000 people.
